Year Six

Miss Deery
YEAR 6

Welcome to Year 6

We are excited about the year ahead and are looking forward to the challenges that we face along the way. During the year our children are ready to work hard to achieve their full potential. We have activated our year by jumping into our new World War topic. Throughout this term we will be learning about how the war has changed Britain, looking especially at The Battle of Britain.

Throughout this year we will be preparing the children for the SAT’s.  The tests will include; Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation, arithmetic, reasoning and reading. We also plan to have fun throughout this busy year while enhancing your child’s enthusiasm for learning.

You can assist your child by helping them with their homework and ensuring they have it in on time. If you would like any extra work or have any other queries do not hesitate to contact the school office and make an appointment.
