Year Two

Miss Horkan

Welcome to Year 2!

This year, our topics are Australia, the Great Fire of London and the Seaside.

We will be having lots of fun learning new and exciting things happening throughout the year and of course producing some fantastic work!

The children will be given homework every Friday which is to be returned on a Wednesday. Homework will be linked to the learning the children have been doing in class.

Here in Year 2 we love to read.  As in Year 1, we will continue to encourage children to read daily and we hope to have your support in this. Reading books must be in school every day. Please ask your child questions about what they are reading to help with their understanding.

Year 2 have PE on a Thursday. Please have a full PE kit in school.

If you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to contact the school office and make an appointment.

Keep checking the website to see what we get up to this year!
