Year One

Miss Dunn

Welcome to Year One

We are all excited to start our new school year in Year One.  We have enjoyed settling into Key Stage 1 and are raring to go and learn lots of new things in our lessons.

Our topic this term is Down on the Farm; and in English we have been learning the tale of Jack and the Beanstalk.

Homework will be given out every Friday and should be handed in every Wednesday.

In Maths we are building on what we learnt in Reception to develop our place value.

We are looking forward to our time in Year One.
