What a great day we have had at Whitehouse Farm! Everyone was really brave and either stroked or held lots of different animals. There were mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, skinny pigs, a millipede and a lizard. Nancy (our guide) was very impressed with our knowledge of mammals and reptiles and she couldn’t believe that we knew about herbivores, carnivores and omnivores! Next we had great fun at the park in the blazing sunshine. After lunch we had a tractor ride and then went to feed some of the bigger animals. We were very lucky because one of the pigs gave birth to 16 piglets yesterday. We saw the runt being bottle fed and were allowed to stroke them. And you know it’s been a good trip when people fall asleep on the way home!
